The Oxymoron is back in stock again, but this time in an extra strange package deal. This Cheese Sandwich Edition (limited edition "Sharp Cheddar" stamp) also comes with two sponges which look like slices of bread, plus two mini pickle minis and a tomato mini. It is released in time to be that extra strange holiday gift that will give disc golfers something to laugh at and something to throw around. What are the sponges for? Well, you can dry your discs with them, or use them to wash your dishes, or however you'd like, but please don't eat them.
The Oxymoron is a twisted experiment in disc design. It is a square-shaped "disc" that is not PDGA approved because it is not the right shape for competitive disc golf. But that didn't stop Doomsday Discs from making them for entertainment purposes and casual rounds. It has a round inside rim on the bottom so that it feels more natural when gripped...well...as natural as you can get with a square disc. The square edges tend to give the "disc" extra helicopter-like lift as it spins in flight, making the disc rise as it flies.
Survival plastic is a blend in the Prepper Line of discs by Doomsday Discs. It is a premium blend with great grip and a shiny finish and should last through the coming apocalypse.
